Ellen Carey

Ellen Carey is an internationally known photographer born in Buffalo. Carey earned a MFA in photography from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a BA from the Kansas City Art Institute.  She is an Associate Professor in Photography, Hartford Art School at The University of Harford. 

Although Carey’s photography has many different mediums, her experiments with the Polaroid 20 X 24 camera are her most well known.
